during a trip to san francisco, as well as nearby monterey and napa valley in 2009, this old song by scott mckenzie kept popping into my head. i liked it. san francisco was famous for the flower power era in the 60s and 70s, so this 60s song was very apt and i liked the nostalgia that came with it.
